A project that began in 2020 as sketches and doodles of mystical mushroom shaped planets from another universe, hidden inside the artist’s mind, that led to an ethereal collection of one of a kind paintings and illustrations. 

 

With skilled brushwork and incredible color theory practice, the collection showcases detailed worlds where the mushroom is a relentless force coming out of nothingness yet surrounded by life in the form of gemstones and plants.  

 

Cam creates a feeling of wonder and possibility. 

 

The lifelike paintings resemble a galactic world with different elements of nature and fungi, fueled by gemstones. They hint at the possibility of someone (or some “things”) living in that world— a fitting metaphor for creative inspiration.

The collection is composed of 8 acrylic paintings with mushroom shaped planets. It also includes a mini series of digital illustrations titled "Ancestors" and "Touch of Life" showing the beings that could inhabit “La Fungilogía” planets and their “abilities”.
